• Stock Additional Supplies: Ensure the AED is accompanied by necessary rescue supplies such as gloves, a razor, and a breathing mask.

PulsePoint AED App

The PulsePoint AED app is also an excellent tool for enhancing public safety by making AEDs more accessible. This app helps users locate nearby AEDs in real-time and allows them to register and manage AEDs within their community. By crowdsourcing AED locations and providing detailed information about each device, the PulsePoint AED app ensures that AEDs are easy to find and always ready for use in emergencies. Additionally, it integrates with emergency response systems to notify trained individuals nearby when a cardiac emergency is reported, directing them to the closest AED to assist until professional help arrives.

TVF&R’s AED Grant Program

TVF&R supports local organizations through its AED Grant Program, aimed at enhancing public health and safety. This program encourages the placement of AEDs in public areas where large numbers of people gather. Organizations that invest in an AED for their facilities can apply for a one-time reimbursement grant, funded by community donations.
