[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Symptom Checker Available for TVF&R Residents

Health officials from Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas County agencies have launched a new online tool providing people a way to screen for possible Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms from home.

The COVID-19 Symptom Checker can be accessed at and is available in 15 languages.

The free online tool offers a checklist to help people decide if their symptoms and underlying health conditions are serious enough that they should go to the hospital, visit their provider at a clinic, or can recover at home.

The symptom checker will also gather the user’s zip code and provide information on the nearest hospitals that have space available. While local hospital information will be provided to users with zip codes in the tri-county region, residents in other counties can still use the symptom checker to better understand what level of treatment they should consider seeking.

The online COVID-19 symptom checker is a guidance tool only and should not replace professional health care advice, diagnosis or treatment by a licensed physician.

If you or your loved one is seriously ill or has a medical emergency, call 911.

Continue slowing the spread of COVID-19 by staying home. During essential trips to places like the grocery store, practice physical distancing of at least six feet between you and others. The CDC also recommends wearing a face covering in areas where physical distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Visit the Oregon Health Authority’s COVID-19 page to keep up to date with the latest facts.
