TVF&R’s dedicated volunteers were honored during the annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on April 13 for their service and commitment to helping us create safer communities.
We are honored to have them as members of our team and are grateful for the countless hours they devote and the talents and skills they share with us.
A special congratulations goes to the following award winners:
- Bill Barger was named the Auxiliary Volunteer of the Year.
- Volunteer Firefighter Alex Warnock earned the Volunteer Leadership of the Year Award.
- Volunteer Auxiliary Captain Mychal Wickam was honored with the Community Leadership of the Year Award.
- Volunteer Firefighter Robert Rake was named the Rookie of the Year.
- Volunteer Firefighter Mickey Laskey secured the Terry Lowrie Volunteer of the Year Award.
- The Volunteer Association presented TVF&R Firefighter Jon Bullock with the Volunteer Supporter of the Year Award.
Fire Chief Mike Duyck was also presented with a special recognition for his support of volunteers over the years.
