Three adults and one dog have been displaced this morning as a result of a small fire at 6260 SW Childs Road in Lake Oswego, OR. Residents were alerted to the fire by one of the home’s smoke alarms. One resident called into 911 at approximately 11:40pm bringing firefighters from both Lake Oswego Fire and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue to the scene. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and kept damage contained to one room of the home. It was reported that all occupants were able to safely exit the home and no injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing and there are no reports of fire cause or damage estimate at this time. The three residents and one dog that were displaced are receiving shelter and assistance from family and friends.
