Please join us in welcoming ten new volunteer firefighters who were newly sworn in to serve TVF&R and its citizens. These volunteer firefighters will be assigned to strategically located stations around the fire district.

These graduates successfully completed a structured academy consisting of eight weekends of classroom and hands-on practical training that included firefighting skills such as fire hose deployment, establishing a water supply from a fire hydrant, deploying fire ladders, and structural ventilation. These ten graduates started their service to TVF&R as Responder Volunteers, and were selected by their volunteer company officers to move to the firefighter classification. These new volunteers will join the ranks of the current volunteer cadre and provide supplementary support to our career firefighters with specific scope and responsibilities.

TVF&R volunteers are comprised of community minded individuals who are looking to give back to their community through various types of volunteer service.
