Oregon has become the 23rd state to require students to learn CPR before high school graduation. Gov. Kate Brown signed the new state legislation Wednesday.
Starting in the 2015-2016 school year, Oregon students will receive CPR training in P.E. or health class. TVF&R is proud to be one of the many advocates of this new law, which will ultimately equip about 35,000 graduates each year with the skills necessary to save a life during a heart emergency.
