FACILITY SAFETY

TVF&R strives to partner with you to keep your facility and residents safe. Items you should pay attention to include:

  • Fire rated doors - Make sure they close and latch. Never block a fire rated door open.
  • Fire alarm and sprinkler systems - These systems must be professionally inspected every year.
  • Obstructions - Keep items from accumulating in hallways or anywhere that provides ingress and egress.
  • Stairwells - Keep wheelchairs, mobility carts, and other items out of stairwells, so you and your residents can easily evacuate and firefighters can enter safely.
