Outdoor Burning

This page provides additional rules for outdoor burning activities within TVF&R's jurisdiction. For details on what type of burning is currently allowed, see the TVF&R Outdoor Burning Map. 

During the DEQ burn seasons the rules change on a daily basis depending on weather conditions. 

Persons wishing to burn must check DAILY.

Burn Complaint Reporting

During High-Fire Danger Times: During a TVF&R Burn Ban, you can report illegal burning activities to the non-emergency number (503) 629-0111 or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency situation. 

All other times: Report smoke complaints and illegal burning activities directly with DEQ by using their online complaint form.
