Outdoor Burning

During DEQ burn seasons, burn rules change on a daily basis depending on weather conditions and air quality. Those wishing to burn must check to see if burning is allowed that day. 

Outdoor (backyard) burning seasons for properties that fall outside of the burn ban boundary are:
     Spring: March 1 - June 15
     Fall: October 1 - December 15

HIGH FIRE DANGER
During a TVF&R burn ban, report illegal burning activities to the non-emergency number (503) 629-0111 or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency situation.
