The community is invited to attend open house celebrations at two of Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s recently remodeled fire stations.
Somerset West Station 64 Open House

Cooper Mountain Station 69 Open House
Location: 9940 SW 175th Avenue, AlohaDate: Saturday, November 18
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.Parking: ADA parking is available at the station along with a few extra public parking spaces. Overflow parking is on Weir Road, just south of the station, where we will provide shuttle service to and from the station.
Both family-friendly events are free; community members can swing on by anytime during open house hours.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the seismically upgraded stations, meet firefighters who operate out of each station, learn fire and life safety tips, and take a quick lesson in hands-only CPR.
TVF&R is grateful for the support of the neighbors near both stations while they underwent voluntary seismic upgrades to ensure crews can respond following a major earthquake. The remodeled stations now have updated fitness, kitchen, dining, dayroom, and office facilities as well as new men’s and women’s showers and bunk rooms.
