Two Ways to Learn CPR

Hands Only CPR

In 2008, the American Heart Association ruled that chest compressions alone or, what is called Hands Only CPR, can help sustain an adult who has just suffered a cardiac arrest until paramedics arrive. (The lungs and blood contain enough oxygen to keep vital organs healthy for the first few minutes, as long as someone provides high quality chest compressions.)

Traditional CPR (Rescue Breaths)

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, in partnership with
Cascade Health Care, provides CPR, First Aid and Automatic External Defibrillator training to constituents and businesses within our fire district.   Students will find a relaxed, informal, supportive learning environment where they will receive practical skills and valuable information.

For more information regarding classes or to schedule a class for your business, contact Cascade Health Care at 877-277-6778.
