MEDIA
SERVICES
Media Services provides televised
programming and training
to all district fire stations and other closed circuit sites.
Programming topics include general fire suppression, emergency medical services, safety training
and community services. Media Services also provides immediate
internal communications between District locations in emergent
situations.
Thousands of hours of classes are viewed by over 289 career and 105 volunteer firefighters, as well
as administrative and support staff. Programming is also provided to
other area fire
departments that contract with the TVF&R. Programming

Both live call-in shows and
pre-produced programs are used to deliver the information via closed
circuit TV. These programs are delivered via the Web as well.
In
addition to operating the closed circuit channel, Media Services provides
audio visual support, computer graphics, and
provides programming to Tualatin Valley Television.
