The Somerset fire station is situated at the junction of Highway 26 and 185th Avenue, serving the northern portion of Aloha, portions of northeastern Hillsboro and unincorporated Washington County. The area has a diverse demographic picture, including single and multi-family dwelling, wildland/urban interface, hi-tech, commercial, and industrial occupancies. Station 64 houses 12 full-time personnel (4 on each 24-hour shift), with paramedic(s) staffing ALS Engine 64 at all times and a wildland brush unit when needed. Station 64 also assists in training and evaluating newly hired firefighters.
