Station 62 - Aloha

The Aloha station serves Aloha, portions of East Hillsboro, and
unincorporated Washington County, with a diverse demographic picture,
including single- and multi-family dwellings, hi-tech, industrial, and
commercial occupancies. Station 62 houses 12 full-time personnel (4 on
each 24-hour shift), with paramedic staffing on Squirt 62 at all times.
The Aloha station is also
the base station for Peak Activity Rescue
Unit R92, which is staffed during times of peak incident occurrence
and utilized as backfill coverage for stations responding to calls,
scheduled for training, or for administrative leave.
Station 62 also has a company of
active
volunteers who staff an additional fire engine, a brush
firefighting
unit, and a water tender on an on-call basis. In addition, the station
also assists with recruit training, instructing,
and evaluating newly-hired firefighters.
