| Since 1995 Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue has used
"mass media" to provide
fire and life safety messages to its communities. Depending on the message and targeted audience, the District utilizes television
commercials, radio announcements, newspaper PSAs, public transit signage, and
public theater slides. These mass media awareness campaigns have allowed the
District to increase public education and information efforts to one of Oregon's fastest
growing communities. To underwrite the cost of these
campaigns, TVF&R seeks corporate and/or media partners.
In the past five
years,
we have received over $900,000 in corporate
and media donations.
If your business is interested in helping
sponsor a safety campaign, email
the District's Public Information Office or call (503) 642-0350.

"The beauty of using
mass media, is
that individuals
receive
our safety tips in their own
environment - while preparing dinner,
driving to work, shopping for groceries,
even at the movies."
