Oregon Fire Safety Skills Curriculum
Elementary Edition - For Grades K through 5/6

Oregon law requires all schools to instruct and drill students on emergency procedures so that the students may respond to an emergency without confusion or panic.

The Oregon Fire Safety Skills Curriculum, developed jointly by teachers and fire service personnel, is designed to help bring this about through its utilization in Oregon’s classrooms and communities.

We strongly encourage the utilization of this curriculum to improve the quality of fire and life safety instruction in Oregon.

If you have questions regarding the use of this curriculum, please call our office at 503-356-4700.
