Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is receiving many inquiries from vendors due to several well-publicized projects. While we appreciate the interest, our priority is effective management of the construction projects themselves. The same individuals who would normally engage with vendors are currently involved daily in moving the projects forward. As a result, at this time we are not able to speak directly with you. Instead, we want to make clear how we go about selecting products and services for all of our facilities.
We have a number of suppliers we work with that have been responsive to past RFPs or other competitive processes.
We also make active use of established public contracts, including the
State of Oregon
and
Fire Rescue Group Purchasing

General contractors associated with our projects will continue to utilize their own means for purchasing services and products. Currently,
CSI Construction
is replacing three of our fire stations and
Howard S. Wright Constructors
is serving as the Construction Manager/General Contractor on the
Command and Business Operations Center
.
Finally, there will be times when we will need to engage with the local business community regarding a new product or service. For this reason, we do want to log your interest in doing business with TVF&R.
