TVF&R's Facilities Maintenance Department
is responsible for maintaining 20 career
fire stations, three volunteer fire stations, four
administrative facilities and
two training facilities within a 210 square mile jurisdiction.
Our maintenance technicians are responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance
including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, overhead door operations,
station exhaust systems, station tap out systems, plumbing, electrical and appliance
repair. The Facilities Department also reviews and supervises all new construction,
station remodels, and future station development and design.
The department uses a comprehensive maintenance management program to
schedule, track, and maintain all corrective and preventive maintenance orders for
our facilities.
DPSI provides the product and support for our system. We are able
to generate work requests, schedule maintenance, track the costs, performance,
inventory and budgets for our facilities division.
In addition, our department provides maintenance support for other local
government agencies as needed or requested. In a major emergency, the
facilities staff provides logistical support in the District Fire Operations Center.
