Media Services provides media-based
content to all district fire stations and offices
for the purposes of training &
communications . Programming topics include
general fire suppression, emergency medical services,
safety training and community services.
Much of the media content is
delivered via closed circuit TV, as
well as the web. The closed
circuit system also provides immediate internal communications between
District locations in emergent situations.
Thousands of hours of classes are viewed by over
310
career and 85 volunteer firefighters, as well as
administrative and support staff. Programming is also
provided to other area fire departments that contract
with the TVF&R.
