Location/Service Area

While known as the King City Station, the ‘first due” for 35s extends well beyond this community in all directions. Extensive development activity to the north makes construction of the Walnut Station a high priority for the District, and inclusion of new urban lands on the west side of Bull Mountain may require yet another new station. Meanwhile, Station 35 is consistently one of the District’s busiest as it responds to a mix of single and multi-family housing, commercial development, and a major concentration of elderly residents.

Project Description

While major seismic upgrades were completed in 2003, several smaller improvements, including an interior sprinkler system, female facilities, and ADA requirements are needed.
