(Health and Public Safety Agencies Issue Reminders on Holiday Hazards; Media Event Planned)

The holidays are a wonderful time of year, unless tragedy strikes! Small toys, candles and dry Christmas trees, drinking and driving, and winter sport activities are common hazards this time of year. In an effort to avoid these and other tragic incidents, local health and public safety agencies will be hosting their annual Holiday Safety News Conference. The Conference - a "one-stop shopping" event – allows media agencies the chance to conduct interviews with local authorities about holiday season hazards. The Conference will be held on Thursday, December 6, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s Administration Center located at 20665 S.W. Blanton Street in Aloha. Media representatives may attend at any time during the two-hour period to cover the following issues:
