Valley Fire & Rescue has received several complaints regarding
aggressive phone solicitations asking for Toy & Joy donations. Tualatin
Valley Fire & Rescue DOES NOT SOLICIT for donations over the phone.
If citizens receive calls, they are urged not to donate and to ask for a
return phone number.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue is now accepting
new toys and
cash donations
on
behalf of its Toy & Joy program.
Donations may be dropped off at any of our
fire stations or our administrative
offices.
Toys and items for infants (0-2) and older children (12 and
older) are always in great demand.

Toys
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue operates
like a toy wholesaler. We do not distribute toys directly to families
in need. Instead, we collect toys and gift items at our fire
stations and administrative offices. The donated
items are then given to local churches and organizations providing
holiday food baskets to adopted families within our service area.
If you need toys for your family, please
contact your respective organization as soon as possible.

Hillsboro Community Senior Center located at 750 SE 8th Avenue.

Toy Donations
The
public is invited to drop off new toys at any of the
District’s fire stations between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Toys should be left unwrapped. Toys for infants (0-2) and older children
(ages 12-17) are always in great demand. Gift
ideas for infant and older children age groups
Please Note: Thanks
to the generosity of the community, our program has an adequate supply
of stuffed animals at this time.

All
money received is used to purchase toys and gift items. Monetary
donations can be dropped off at any fire station or mailed to:
