TVF&R Firefighters and Command Staff Support Wildfire Efforts

wildfire attack.jpg
Many TVF&R firefighters and several command staff have spent weeks deployed to support local communities, the Oregon State Fire Marshal, Oregon Department of Forestry and the US Forest Service as fires continue to rage in the state. Most recently, firefighters have worked to protect landmark structures, homes and backburning areas that may be in a fires' path to prevent it from spreading.

Many people in the community have asked whether TVF&R or other fire agencies are accepting donations of goods. While we are grateful for the generosity and intent, we ask that people do not bring donations of items like bottled water, toiletries and clothes to fire stations or shelter sites. Instead, consider donating to the American Red Cross.
