Project Description:
The District is working with the city of West Linn to purchase adjacent lots that will allow for construction
of a modern 11,800 sq. ft. station and community room with significantly improved access to Highway 43.
The architectural
design contract for Station 58 was signed late 2007 and
preliminary design work is underway. TVF&R staff has met
with the City of West Linn Planning Department to review
applicable planning codes and develop conditional use
applications. Concept drawings have been shared with the
Bolton Neighborhood Association and its recommendations have
been incorporated into revised drawings.

Background:
The Bolton station serves the northern half of the city of West Linn, bordered by Interstate 205 and the city of
Lake Oswego. Although the area encompasses a small segment of retail trade, the majority is comprised of single-
and multi-family housing. This older framed structure does not meet current ADA, seismic, or a variety of District
standards. The apparatus bays are too small and lack the overhead clearance and depth required to house standard
District apparatus. The current location results in delayed response times as crews must circle the block to access
Highway 43.
