Approximately 7,000 sq. ft.; an additional 10,000 sq. ft. of office space has been leased to the city of Wilsonville for several years. The city expects to vacate this space by October 1, 2006.

The Elligsen Road fire station is located at the junction of Interstate 5 and Elligsen Road in north Wilsonville. It responds to a mix of wildland/urban interface, industry, single and multi-family housing, and the State’s most heavily-used freeway. Formerly the headquarters of the Tualatin Rural Fire District, this combined station and office space has major structural and design deficiencies. Seismic concerns are significant and would require several million dollars to address.

Easy freeway access makes this an ideal site to construct a new fire station. Co-location of the District’s Command and Business Operations Center is also being considered.
